Kurt Benkert was one of the most engaging and likeable players the Green Bay Packers had in recent years. The Packers released him, though, so that he would have a shot at making a 53-man roster on another team. With Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love entrenched at quarterback, there was just no room for him on the roster. Benkert loved Green Bay, though, and he has evidenced that love by signing an endorsement deal with Rogue Energy. The company is local to Green Bay, Wisconsin.
