A former Packers coach broke his silence on Aaron Rodgers being traded to the Jets
Former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Luke Getsy spent a lot of time with Aaron Rodgers in his career. Getsy worked in Green Bay from 2014-2017 and then returned in 2019 before leaving again ahead of the 2022 season.
Right now, Getsy is the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears and on Wednesday he was asked about his former player, Rodgers joining the Jets. Getsy gave an open and honest answer, saying he believes Rodgers going to New York was made a lot of sense for him.

Rodgers is already making headlines in New York for taking control of the Jets offense here in OTA’s this Summer. The quarterback seems to be fitting in well with his new team. And despite the Jets not having the Bears or the Packers on their schedule this year, it’s nice to keep up on former Packers and their relationships with Rodgers.
