Former Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones is back in the limelight and this time, for a quote that that many people find wild, funny, and crazy.
Jones, now playing for Green Bay rivals Minnesota Vikings, is roaring to go for the 2025 season. It will be his ninth season but he does not feel like he’s getting old.

He spent his first seven seasons with the the Packers, became a Pro Bowl in 2020 and was the NFL co-leader in rushing touchdowns.
Those were productive years and despite the mileage, he is ready to defy what most people attribute to getting old.
Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Jones gave birth to one of the most iconic and craziest quotes of all time in the NFL.
“I feel the best I have ever felt,” Jones told reporters.

“Feel like I’m back to 24, 25 years old. Age is just a number. It’s just a number. I’ve been saying that since I was a little kid trying to get older women, age is just a number. But it really is. If you stay young (mentally) and continue to work every day, that’s really what it is.”
Aaron Jones wants to meet ex Green Bay Packers teammates
The veteran running back is extra visible right now as he is among the players expected to grace the Lambeau Field for the 2025 NFL draft.
He remains friends with former Packers and he was hoping to meet them in the venue and ask them to workout.
Among those he still get in touch with are Elgton Jenkins, Christian Watson, Jaire Alexander, Romeo Doubs, and Jordan Love.

Unfortunately for him, these guys were not in town.
“I was gonna go up to the stadium and wait for them to come in and just hold a sign: ‘Can you sign this?’”
Packers fans would have loved that moment as Jones was loved during his time with them.
Maybe next time.
