Within days of arriving in Denver Russell Wilson is already making impacts on the Denver community. Children’s Hospital Colorado posted a thank you message to Russell and his wife Ciara for their surprise visit. “They sure loved story time and reading a new book!”
Thanks to our new neighbors @DangeRussWilson and @Ciara for surprising our patients with a personal visit to @RyanFoundation's #SeacrestStudios this morning! Our patients loved the broadcast, conversations and autographs. #HereItsDifferent pic.twitter.com/3IvIt3H1Ym

This isn’t close to his first visit to a children’s hospital:
Wilson has been making regular visits to Seattle Children’s to visit children at the hospital since 2012 when his career was just starting out. Back when he was a rookie quarterback and could walk through the halls of the hospital with little fanfare. Today, that’s not the case. Everyone at Seattle Children’s knows Wilson, and he’s the hospital’s favorite quarterback. He’s so adored, Seattle Children’s has even dedicated a day to honor him and his weekly visits: Blue Tuesdays.
Russell Wilson continues to make Wisconsin, Seattle, and the entire NFL proud. Denver, you got a good one. Take care of him! #OnWisconsin
