Watkins finished the Super Bowl with 5 receptions (on 6 targets) and 98 yards. Injuries had Sammy Watkins overweight and thinking his NFL career was possibly over this off-season. Matt Lafleur has already stated “He’s going to be a big part of our offense.” Watkins may be the Packers new #1 wide receiver by season’s end.
