It wasn’t that long ago that WR Sammy Watkins was making plays on the Super Bowl. When healthy, Watkins still has the ability to be a deep threat in this league. This play was massive late in the third quarter of Super Bowl LIV:

Watkins finished the Super Bowl with 5 receptions (on 6 targets) and 98 yards. Injuries had Sammy Watkins overweight and thinking his NFL career was possibly over this off-season. When he got the call to come play for Green Bay he got another chance to slim down and produce with the Green Bay Packers, but the veteran receiver knows he must stay healthy and be available to get his career turned around:

Matt Lafleur has already stated “He’s going to be a big part of our offense.” Watkins may be the Packers new #1 wide receiver by season’s end.
