The San Francisco 49ers entered Sunday’s matchup with the Green Bay Packers with a 5-5 record. Green Bay had a 7-3 record entering the game and the Packers needed a win to keep pace with the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.

The Green Bay Packers dominated the San Francisco 49ers and won by a final score of 38-10. Green Bay dominated the game from the opening kickoff against San Francisco.

There has been much criticism of 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan this season. He has reached the Super Bowl with San Francisco twice in the past five seasons, but they have fallen short twice against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 49ers had many players out due to injury against the Packers.

Some of the key players who were out were Nick Bosa, Brock Purdy, and Trent Williams. The 49ers have been dealt with a rash of injuries, but the fanbase is not excusing the 49ers head coach for not having his players ready to play with Brandon Allen as the starting quarterback. Here is what they had to say about it:

    Fire Kyle

The only good thing on offense today was #85. Everything else was beyond horrible. Too many issues and problems with this team and today it really showed. On to the next game now… #FTTB

Disgraceful performance by the boy wonder…. Fire Kyle!

Injuries riddled our season! We also need to change the voice in the locker room and spread the offense out ! Get Saleh back and make a run next season, window is closing with this group

The 49ers defense has not been the same this season and it would be interesting to see if they would bring back Robert Saleh in some capacity next season. It appears as if San Francisco is in danger of missing the playoffs this season. There will be many more questions about head coach Kyle Shanahan before the season ends.

    Face the Buffalo Bills Next

Bills quarterback Josh Allen gets ready to throw a pass as Kansas City’s Chris Jones heads for him during first half action against the Kansas City Chiefs in Orchard Park, Nov.17, 2024.

Next week, the San Francisco 49ers will go on the road again and face the Buffalo Bills, who are 9-2 this season. Buffalo is one of the best teams in the NFL and who knows if they will get Brock Purdy back next week. If Brandon Allen is the starting quarterback, it will be another long game for the 49ers.

It appears the Green Bay Packers have cast major doubt on the 49ers’ minds and fanbase for the rest of the 2024 NFL regular season. San Francisco could still win the NFC West division, but it may not even make the playoffs this season.
