Kids could participate in the Green Bay Packers Training Camp tradition for the first time in two years. On Wednesday’s opening day of training camp, kids lined up outside Lambeau Field. They were hoping a Green Bay Packer player would choose their bike to ride on to practice at Ray Nitschke Field. This has been happening every year for nearly seven decades. Today Christian Watson participated, certainly making one young fan (and father) extremely happy.
Christian Watson Makes Young Fans’ Day:
Thank you @ChristianW2017 for taking my son on his and your 1st @packers bike ride at training camp. Call it a dual rookie bike ride debut for you both. See ya next time! #GoPackGo pic.twitter.com/TIziu6Je1o

Above all, stories like these are the ones you love to see going into Packers training camp and the season. This tradition has consequently allowed the Packers to leave smiles on the face of kids for years. This one was no different.
When the Green Bay Packers traded up to draft Christian Watson with the 34th overall pick, they made him their highest drafted wide receiver since they drafted Javon Walker in the first round in 2002. In short, this alone sets high expectations for the North Dakota State product.
