Davante Adams is back in the headlines again, this time it’s for ‘abusive language’ towards an NFL official. Earlier this season, Adams also made the news for pushing a photographer. It’s clear that Adams is frustrated in Las Vegas this year. Despite his individual success, the Raiders currently sit at 3-7, third place in the AFC West and well out of the playoff picture.
Davante Adams Fined For Abusive Language Towards An NFL Official
Last week, during the Raiders-Broncos game, things became heated between the two teams. Both teams are struggling this season, which probably added fuel to the fire.
Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons made contact to Adams’ head and neck area during an incomplete pass with 5:30 left in the third quarter. Adams was considered to be a defensiveless receiver after another Broncos player batted the ball away. Later, the NFL confirmed that the officials missed the call.

Simmons was eventually fined $15,914 for unnecessary roughness. However, Adams was fined even more for unsportsmanlike conduct. He had some choice words for back judge Dino Paganelli. Adams’ outburst cost him $29,785.
