Both Jrue Holiday and Mike Budenholzer were part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ NBA title-winning team in 2021 and they are now on a different journey.

However, their names got put together again after a long while it is not something Holiday is finding pleasure from.
The Phoenix Suns failed to reach the playoffs despite having their big three in Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradly Beal. The did not waste time to fire Budenholzer after just one season.
Their elimination subsequently opened a can of worms and among them is a reported conflict between Coach Bud and Beal.
According to reports, Beal was asked by the head coach to play like Holiday. The latter was probably trying to imitate the system he had when he was still coach Jrue alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

Beal did not appreciate the request.
“Don’t ever disrespect me like that. Don’t ever tell me to play like another player,” he allegedly said according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.
Jrue Holiday dismisses comparison, praises Beal
Holiday is busy preparing for the playoffs as his Boston Celtics attempt to defend their title.
As for the Beal-Budenholzer conflict, he wants no part of it.
However, he recognized that he and Beal have different playing styles.

“I guess I have nothing to say because this is the first time I’m hearing about it,” Holiday said.
“I think me and Brad are different players. And I also don’t know what he meant by saying that. But we are different players. Brad is an elite scorer and he’s had somewhat of an off year. So I feel like just things are different.”
Holiday and the Celts will open their first round series with Orlando Magic on Saturday.
