The Green Bay Packers are going through a gauntlet of injuries early on vs the Lions. Early in Sunday’s contest vs the Lions Eric Stokes went down with a lower-body injury. His status was just updated mid-game by the Green Bay Packers.
Eric Stokes Ruled Out By The Packers
Stokes was officially listed with an ankle/knee Injury by the Packers, though the nature of these injuries is still unclear. The second-year cornerback logged one tackle before exiting early in the first quarter. With Stokes sidelined, Rasul Douglas moved into Green Bay’s outside cornerback spot. Keisean Nixon stepped into the slot against Detroit, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
The Packers later listed Eric Stokes (lower body) out in Sunday’s game against the Lions. Per Kevin Burkhardt on the FOX broadcast, “The Eric Stokes injury did not look pretty, so we decided not to show it.”
