The Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) will host the Green Bay Packers (11-6) on Sunday. It will be the most recent matchup between Green Bay and Philadelphia in the post-season. Green Bay holds an all time 28-19 record over Philadelphia, however, the Eagles have a 2-1 advantage all time in the post-season.
One recent piece of injury news, however, has many Philadelphia fans in turmoil.
“Season Is Over” Eagles Fans Melt Down On “X” Over Star Injury News Ahead Of Packers Wild Card Game
As previously reported:
The Green Bay Packers know that if they want to go on the road and upset the second seed for the second year in a row, they’ll need to play at their best. Philadelphia is coming off a 14-3 season that saw them dominate many of their opponents.
However, one of their super stars has missed multiple days of practice this week.
According to Philadelphia reporter Jeff McLane:
Do not see A.J. Brown at practice. The WR was listed as limited (knee/rest) on Wednesday, suggesting he left early.
He has been dealing with a knee for a few weeks, but also had the week off.
Philadelphia’s number one wide receiver not being able to practice, and in fact his status getting worse, doesn’t bode well for Sunday’s contest. Of course, he isn’t ruled out yet and will likely do whatever it takes to play.
Philadelphia fans weren’t happy to see Brown’s update:
