Transitioning to coaching, Rivers began with the Orlando Magic in 1999, followed by the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers. In 2023, he became the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

    Doc Rivers is married to Kristen Rivers, and together they have four children: Jeremiah, Callie, Austin, and Spencer. His family has been actively involved in sports, with his children pursuing various athletic careers. Notably, his son Austin played for the Los Angeles Clippers under his fatherโ€™s coaching and later became an analyst for ESPN. His daughter Callie played professional volleyball and is married to NBA player Seth Curry.
