D’Mitrik Trice has committed to join the Milwaukee Bucks for the team’s Summer League this summer in Las Vegas, per Jon Chepkevich. Trice, the University of Wisconsin’s all time leader in games played, will have an opportunity to impress and possibly chase his NBA dream.
Wisconsin Career
Trice played his entire college career at the University of Wisconsin. As a 5th-year Senior last season, Trice had averages of 13.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. Trice broke the University of Wisconsin’s record for career games played last season, finishing his Wisconsin career with 143 games played over his 5 seasons. His outside shooting was his biggest weapon at Wisconsin, where he shot 37.3% last season. Some fans might remember him for scoring 19 points in less than 3 minutes.
The score for Illinois-Wisconsin was 60-50 with less than 3 minutes left, then

What Does D’Mitrik Trice Bring?
Trice brings an ability to space the floor with his outside shooting ability. He never shot lower than 30% from the outside in his time at Wisconsin. He also brings defense from a Badgers team that ranked 1st in the Big Ten, only giving up 64.6 points per game. Having played his college basketball within the state, Wisconsin fans will be cheering for Trice to make the team in Milwaukee. He will now get his shot to show Jon Horst what he can bring and pursue his dreams of playing in the NBA.
