The Green Bay Packers have selected LB Quay Walker, Georgia. After a massive run on wide receiver in the first round involving: WR Drake London (ATL), WR Garrett Wilson (NYJ), WR Chris Olave (NO), WR Jameson Williams (DET), WR Marquise Brown (traded to AZ), WR Jahan Dotson (WAS), WR AJ Brown (traded to PHI), WR Treylon Burks (TEN) the Packers wound up with one of the best LBs in the draft. Early returns have been nothing short of remarkable. Quay Walker is turning heads everywhere on the defensive side of the ball.
He wasn’t the most hyped Georgia LB but he was without a doubt the best one. Top 2 LB in this draft. Speed. Length. Strength. Put in tough positions and thrived.
Given all the WR off the board, this was a great pick for the @packers

Having an All-Pro and one of the best linebackers in the NFL in 2021 call you out and say you “don’t really need” his advice is a pretty big compliment. This defense will have a two headed monster at LB for the first time in a long time.
