The Denver Nuggets had a road game on Thursday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Denver did not look sharp at points in the game against Milwaukee and it was one of the reasons why the Bucks beat the Nuggets by a final score of 121-112.
One player who did not have his best game was Michael Porter Jr. He only went 2-11 from three-point land and only made 5-of-22 field goals. It was a tough night for him and his performance was one of the reasons why Denver lost on the road. They dropped to 38-21 on the season and the Bucks improved to 33-25 on the year.

It is not a shock that the Nuggets fanbase was disappointed with the way Porter Jr. performed on Thursday night for head coach Michael Malone. Porter Jr. only scored 12 points, but he grabbed 10 rebounds, recorded three assists, and recorded one steal. Jokic did everything, Mal gets a pass because he’s been good as of late, AG barely gets a pass because he had a few good defensive sequences…. Porter gets none, he was horrendous, and equally Malone gets no pass for not benching him for Westbrook

It is amazing how many Nuggets fans are fed up with Michael Porter Jr. This is probably not the first time this season that they have complained about him. If they are going to make another deep run in the playoffs, he is going to need to shoot better from the field.
Other Stats
Once again, Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with 32 points. He also grabbed 14 rebounds, recorded 10 assists, and recorded one steal. Jokic recorded another triple-double in the game and he is one of the best players in the NBA.
Jamal Murray scored 20 points, grabbed three rebounds, recorded five assists, and recorded one steal. Christian Braun scored 13 points and Russell Westbrook also added 10 points for Denver. Some Nuggets fans want to see Westbrook inserted into the starting lineup.
However, he has played his role well this season with Denver. Russell Westbrook probably will not replace Michael Porter Jr. in the starting lineup anytime soon. After the loss against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Denver Nuggets will look to bounce back on Friday night against the Detroit Pistons on the road also.
