Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is the hottest name on the trade market right now. While he is still currently on the Arizona Cardinals roster, all sources have indicated that the team is looking to move on from the five-time Pro Bowler. In a recent interview, Hopkins was asked about some teams and how he felt about playing for them which gave us a clue about where he would like to land.

Wide Receiver DeAndre Hopkins Hints At Preferred Destinations
While under contract with a team, a player cannot discuss playing for another. However, the All Things Covered podcast asked him about four teams, the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, and Kansas City Chiefs, and told him to react with body language accordingly. Two teams stood out. It seems like a no to the Patriots and the Jets while the Bills and the Chiefs seemed to be on the list of approved teams. This says a lot about where his priorities are.

Super Bowl Or Bust
Hopkins wants that Super Bowl. New England is having a difficult time with the quarterback position in the post-Tom Brady era and the Jets presumably have Aaron Rodgers but that still is not enough to convince Hopkins. The Bills and the Chiefs have two of the best young quarterbacks in the league, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. If this was last year, I think the Packers would have been in on him. They were going all-in with Rodgers as the quarterback but now with Jordan Love, Hopkins is not really a necessary piece of the team. It would be great to get him but I highly doubt he wants to be a part of another rebuild.
The Cardinals are hoping they can trade DeAndre Hopkins but they might end up simply releasing him. Where he ends up could move the needle on a Super Bowl contender so it is something to watch this offseason.
