David Bakhtiari and the Green Bay Packers will always be bitter rivals with Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings. That rivalry has heated up in recent years. Over the last 10 years, the Packers are 10-8-2 against the Vikings. This past year the Packers and Vikings split the season series. The Vikings bested the Packers in week one by a score of 23-7. The Packers then returned the favor in week 17 dominating the Vikings 41-17 at Lambeau Field. Today David Bakhtiari took a subtle shot at Justin Jefferson’s infamous celebration.

During the Packers’ 41-17 domination of the Vikings, Jaire Alexander trolled Jefferson by doing the “Griddy” after a forced incompletion. Jefferson finished that game with one reception for 15 yards on five targets. This came after Jaire Alexander called Jefferson’s Week one monster performance a “fluke.” After the game, Justin Jefferson had a lot to say about Alexander mocking his celebration. As long as Justin Jefferson is in Minnesota, the “Griddy” celebration will certainly be on the minds of players in terms of celebrations after a big play. That goes for both teams, clearly.
