Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers became the most sacked quarterback in the National Football League after getting downed for the 566th time in New York Jets’ trashing by the Buffalo Bills over the weekend, surpassing the record set by Tom Brady.
That is not an accolade worth mentioning and getting congratulations for but his former teammate David Bakhtiari sent one anyway.
“Hell yeah! Congrats @AaronRodgers12 another one for the record books!!!!” the former Packers offensive tackle wrote on X.

Bakhtiari and Rodgers spent nine years together at the Lambeau Field and one one championship and multiple individual awards.
Rodgers’ dishonorable mention is real but putting this all in perspective, one can only reach such forgettable record through longevity.
The four-time MVP is now on his 20th season and only took a lengthy rest last season when he went down with season-ending Achilles injury on the first week.
Both Bakhtiari and Rodgers are now away from the Packers. The former is now semi-retired having been released by the team in 2023 while Rodgers continue to try to give it a shot by signing with the lowly New York Jets.
Aaron Rodgers take it in stride by dragging Tom Brady
Rodgers maintained a sense of humor despite the most tackled QB record.
Talking to reporters post-game, he thought of another legendary player to own the the record.
“Yeah, I got Tom in that,” he said.
Brady played 23 seasons in the NFL for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He also played more games as his team always reach the post season.
