Some NFL teams went a little wild with their schedule release videos. David Bakhtiari wasn’t a fan of the Green Bay Packers video, and Bakhtiari appears to have gotten a little aggressive on social media with the team’s vice president of communications.
David Bakhtiari disses the Green Bay Packers’ schedule release
One of the more viral videos released Thursday was from the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers poked fun at all of the teams on their schedule, including the Packers.
should we REALLY make our schedule release video an anime AGAIN?

The Packers released their video Thursday evening as well. But it wasn’t anything as creative as what other teams around the league did.
It's the 🔥hot🔥 new item everyone is talking about‼️

Bakhtiari wasn’t impressed. He asked Jason Whalers, the Packers’ VP of communications, if he signed off the video.
@JTWahlers did you sign off on this??.. https://t.co/dNvkZEXQZI

Wahlers replied.

Bakhtiari then dissed the Packers’ creative team for their effort, calling the video “booty cheeks,” and continued to throw shade at Wahlers Thursday night.
It’s booty cheeks! I could’ve asked an aspiring TikTok creator that’s still in high school to create something better.
— David Bakhtiari (@DavidBakhtiari) May 12, 2023
Did I clear that up for you?
@JTWahlers ran way. He doesn’t want any part of this. He rather have the perpetually mid content to continue.

That’s an interesting way for Bakhtiari to respond publicly to a fellow member of the Packers organization. The starting left tackle has been rumored as a possible player the Packers could trade this offseason. Bakhtiari’s comments read more like someone who has one foot out the door.
On the hand, Bakhtiari’s comments are kind of funny and valid. He seems to be in agreement with plenty of Packers fans who would have liked to see a more exciting video. Maybe next offseason, the Packers will try and put out some better than “mid” content, even if Bakhtiari isn’t there.

We’re talking about the schedule release. Not a practice or a game, the schedule release. Schedule release. Does anyone really care about a schedule release video? We’re not talking about practice or a game, but who cares about a schedule release video.
