With the Green Bay Packers already out of Super Bowl contention, many of the team’s fans are looking for other ways to keep their interest in the NFL playoffs.
Some have even turned to hoping that a former Green Bay star will deliver some sort of revenge for them in the NFC Divisional Round, as ex-Packers star wide receiver Davante Adams, who is now with the Los Angeles Rams, is set to share the field this coming Saturday with the Chicago Bears.
Ex-Packers star WR sounds off on facing the Bears in the playoffs
Of course, it was Chicago that stopped Green Bay in the NFC Wild Card Round, and Cheeseheads want nothing more now than seeing the Bears crash and burn in the playoffs.
During a recent appearance on the “Up & Adams,” the star Rams wideout told Kay Adams that he’s not on social media enough these days to hear that sentiment from fans of his former team.
Moreover, the former Fresno State Bulldogs star said that winning the game for the Rams matters more to him than any desire expressed by Green Bay fans.
“Not really. I mean, at this point in the year, like, I’m not too much on social media, so I don’t see a lot of the stuff that they’re saying. But, yeah, I mean, apart of being once a Packer, always a Packer. So, you know, it’s one of those situations where, obviously, I got loyalty to them, but I’m doing this for the Rams. Unfortunately, this is not for the Packers people, but if they get something from it, you know, then, you know, I love that as well.”

Regardless, the Bears should be wary of Adams, who has a long history of torching Chicago, dating back to his days with Green Bay.
The 33-year-old Adams has recorded 1,081 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 88 receptions in 17 games played against the Bears.
