Davante Adams Likes Post About Aaron Rodgers That Sends Fans Into A Trade Frenzy

Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers made one of the most dynamic QB-WR duos in NFL history.  Their eight years together in Green Bay produced some incredible memories.  That duo came to an unfortunate end before the 2022 season when the Packers traded the star wide receiver to the Raiders.  Adams made it clear that he wanted to be closer to home and play with his college teammate and best friend Derek Carr.  Now, one year removed, both sides may be wishing the trade never happened.  The Raiders missed the playoffs and appear to be moving on from QB Derek Carr.  The Packers finished 8-9, missing the playoffs in week 18 following a brutal loss to the Detroit Lions.  Now that the off-season is in full swing for these two teams, Aaron Rodgers trade rumors are in full bloom.  Recently Davante Adams liked a tweet that insinuates he would like to see Rodgers in Las Vegas.

Davante Adams Likes Tweet Wanting Aaron Rodgers In Las Vegas

Mitchell Renz of Raiders Report posted this on twitter:

If the Raiders trade for Aaron Rodgers I’m going live for 12 straight hours on the Raiders Report #RaiderNation pic.twitter.com/yrJSvQ8Dpc

    — Raiders Report Mitchell Renz (@MitchellRenz365) February 2, 2023

Under Davante Adam’s liked tweets, this post is (currently) the very first one.  Aaron Rodgers’ former teammate Mark Tauscher proposed an ambitious trade involving the Las Vegas Raiders.

“Unless Tom Brady decides to go to Las Vegas and play there, why can’t GB undo the Davante trade and bring him and Waller to GB? Vegas will be in full rebuild mode and GB has a lot of assets to trade with. GB has gone after Waller hard twice already, 3rd time might be the charm.”

Tom Brady has since announced his retirement, could that open the door for Aaron Rodgers?  It is actually possible that the Raiders have already backed out of the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes (if there even is one), however, could one of their star players asking for him to join the Raiders change their mind?  Only time will tell, but it is clear that Davante Adams would love to team up with #12 again.
