Former Green Bay Packers star wide receiver Davante Adams is now just two wins away from winning his first Super Bowl. That is after he helped the Los Angeles Rams pull off a wild and thrilling 20-17 overtime win against Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago.
While being interviewed on the field following Los Angeles’ takedown of Chicago, Adams couldn’t help but mention the good old days he had in the NFC North, particularly during rivalry games between the Packers and the Bears.
“It felt like one of the old Packer-Bears rivalry games,” the 33-year-old Adams told StaceyDales of the NFL Network.
No better player to talk to than Davante Adams in Chicago:

Ex-Packers WR Adams loves beating the Bears
Although Adams did not have big numbers against the Bears on Sunday, he had one of the most important plays for the Rams in the contest. His tough catch in overtime helped Los Angeles set up the game-winning field goal kick of kicker Harrison Mevis.
The six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Adams finished the game with just 24 receiving yards and zero touchdowns on two catches and six targets, but he’ll take that kind of production anytime as long as his team wins a playoff game as big as the one he had with the Rams in the Windy City.
In a way, the Rams’ win against the Bears felt like a measure of revenge for Green Bay fans, as it involved Adams.
Chicago knocked the Packers out of the NFL playoffs with a come-from-behind win in the NFC Divisional Round, and now joins Green Bay among teams forced to sit back at home and watch the rest of the postseason unfold.
