Davante Adams Apologizes For Shoving Broadcast Employee: Could Face Suspension

On Monday night, the Las Vegas Raiders suffered a tough 1-point loss to the Kansas City Chiefs (29-30). The Raiders fall to a record of 1-4 on the season.

Davante Adams had three catches for 124 yards. Two of which were for touchdowns earning him his 4th and 5th touchdown of the season.

The first was this impressive 58-yard catch;

Solid numbers didn’t make up for the team loss, and Adams’ displeasure was visible more than once during the broadcast.

I think anyone would be livid after running a route like this;

His anger finally caught up with him after the game. While walking off the field, a stadium employee blindly ran across Adam’s walking path, and Adams shoved the man to the ground.

Adam’s then trudged past without concern for the man’s wellbeing.

Adams took to Twitter later that evening to make a public apology to the gentleman he shoved, stating;

Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.

According to Tom Pelissero, “Adams is facing NFL discipline – and potentially a suspension”

The league is reviewing the situation. Adams apologized through the media and again on Twitter.
