NFL News: Dalvin Cook To The Dolphins – Is It A Done Deal?

A four-time Pro Bowler, Dalvin Cook has been a fixture of the Vikings’ offense since entering the league in 2017. His recent release opens up a new chapter in his career, and teams across the league are undoubtedly considering the possibility of bringing his talents to their roster.

Among the potential suitors for Cook are the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, and the Dallas Cowboys.

    Miami Dolphins Signing Dalvin Cook?

The Dolphins, long considered the top contender for Cook, have been actively seeking to bolster their offensive line. As a Miami native, Cook might want to return home, adding value to a backfield currently led by Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr., and rookie De’Von Achane.

Cook also posted a picture of himself dancing at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Is this his way of suggesting where he’s signing?

    Could Denver Sign Cook?

The Denver Broncos could be another potential landing spot for Cook. Despite their reluctance to trade draft picks, the Broncos might be more willing to negotiate with Cook as a free agent. Denver’s new coach Sean Payton’s success with backs in New Orleans could make Denver an attractive option for Cook.

New Orleans Saints Make Sense Too

The New Orleans Saints, Payton’s former team, could also use Cook’s skills in their backfield. Given Alvin Kamara’s uncertain future and decreased productivity over the past two seasons, there might be a legitimate avenue for Cook to find a featured role in New Orleans.

    Cowboys Are Always An Option

Lastly, the Dallas Cowboys are known to be part of the conversation when high-profile veterans hit the market. With Ezekiel Elliott’s release, there could be a need in the backfield that Cook might be able to fill.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances that led to Cook’s departure from the Vikings, his journey in the NFL is far from over. With several teams showing interest in his services, it’s only a matter of time before we find out where Cook will be showcasing his talents in the 2023 season.
