The Indianapolis Colts have conducted an interview with a certain Packers coordinator for their vacant head coaching position. Rich Bisaccia, the Green Bay Packers special teams coordinator, has completed an interview with the Colts ownership for the position. He is currently the 13th individual to interview for the open position.
Will the Packers lose Rich Bisaccia this off-season?

Most football fans can agree that Rich Bisaccia earned plenty of respect as the interim head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. In their first year in Las Vegas, the Raiders lost control of the team for a short time. After Bisaccia was named interim head coach, he helped lead the team to the playoffs despite losing two players to legal issues and their head coach to leaked emails.
After Bisaccia lost his job following the hiring of Josh McDaniels, the veteran coach joined the Packers staff. In 2022, the Packers special teams unit was one of the best in the league. Keisean Nixon recorded 1149 total return yards and led the league in overall return yards, as well as kick return yards. Mason Crosby hit 25 field goals this season and only missed one attempt under 50 yards.
It is no surprise that the Colts have interviewed Bisaccia. He arguably earned a chance to be interviewed for a head coaching position last off-season, but did not receive any despite his accomplishments. Perhaps the biggest accomplishment, which the Colts and Packers have no statistics for, is the way Bisaccia motivates his players. The Las Vegas Raiders rallied around their sudden coaching change and stayed focused despite a multitude of distractions. There were certainly enough excuses for the team to collapse, but the opposite occurred.
The Colts, on the other hand, have been looking for a coach like Bisaccia. Jeff Saturday was the most odd and surprising hire this season because it came out of nowhere. Saturday also had no experience coaching past the high school level, but what he has been known for is commanding a team on the field. Saturday is a motivator and was as a player as well, which makes Bisaccia a great fit for the Colts head coaching position. Packers fans wish Bisaccia the best of luck following his interview.
