The Packers lost Davante Adams last off-season when they traded him to the Las Vegas Raiders. They did not draft his replacement in the first round like many expected, but they did draft a wide receiver early. They traded up to get wide receiver Christian Watson at the top of the second round. Watson joined “The Zach Gelb Show” and revealed his top 5 wide receivers in the NFL, and some fans might find his list shocking.

Christian Watson is not lacking in the confidence department. After just one year in the league, he believes he can prove he is at the level of Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, Cooper Kupp and Ja’Marr Chase. Watson thinks he can prove himself soon.

“I know who I can become. I just have to show everybody,” said Watson. “I think the opportunity to show everybody will come here pretty soon.”

Watson had a solid rookie season despite dealing with injuries and struggles with consistency early. Gelb praised Watson’s confidence saying that his belief in himself shows that he has the mentality to be at that level.

“Everybody knows what their personal limits are and what they’re truly able to do,” said Watson. Obviously, it will take time to cultivate and come together. I think in due time the world will know as well.”

Watson is on the way to a great career if he can build on his rookie year. In his first season, he produced 41 receptions, 611 yards and nine total touchdowns.
