Over the last three games, fans of the Green Bay Packers have finally gotten to see what the team was so excited about when they drafted Christian Watson. After an early season that will filled with injuries and inconsistency, Watson has put together a string of three games that only two other Green Bay Packers wide receivers have matched in the Super Bowl era.

A Great Three-Game Run for Christian Watson
The season turned a corner for Christian Watson when the Packers unexpectedly defeated the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field. In that game, Watson broke out with four receptions for 107 yards and three touchdowns. In the next game, a Packers loss to the Tennessee Titans, he recorded four receptions for 48 yards and two more touchdowns. On Sunday night, against the Philadelphia Eagles, Watson had four more receptions for 110 yards and yet another touchdown.

Christian Watson Joins an Exclusive List of Packers Greats
We have already discussed how Watson is the first Packers rookie with a touchdown catch in three straight games since Billy Howton in 1952. Additionally, Watson is just the third Packers wide receiver in the Super Bowl era to record six receiving touchdowns and over 250 receiving yards in a three game stretch. The others? All-Pro’s Sterling Sharpe and Davante Adams.

It truly has been fun watching Christian Watson improve as the season goes on. Despite the Packers’ poor record, Watson has given fans something to look forward to, regardless of the game’s outcome.
