The Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers rivalry runs deep and quarterback Justin Fields is 0-5 against the Packers in his career. He is looking to avoid going 0-6 against them and ruin the Packers’ season. There has been some trash-talking going on throughout the week by the Bears side, not necessarily the Packers side.
Chicago is trying to gain a mental edge despite losing nine straight games against them. Justin Fields told the media about the Green Bay Packers fanbase by saying:
“I know their fans are going to be loud ’cause there’s not much to do in Green Bay except watch football. It’s going to be a great environment for us to play in. Hopefully, we have a great game and get the dub on Sunday.”
Fields in the first meeting against the Packers this season completed 64.9% of his passes for 216 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed for 59 yards on nine carries and averaged 6.6 yards per carry in that contest when they lost 38-20 back in Week 1.
Green Bay Packers Fans and other Fans Poke Fun at the Comment Justin Fields Made
There seemed to be a lot of uproar about the comments Fields made about the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is just trying to gain a mental edge and the trash-talking could come back to bite him later on. The Packers’ defense would love to shut him down and make him eat his words.
This is how some fans reacted on Twitter to Justin Fields comments:

Their fans are going to be loud because they think Jordan Love is on his way to being the next Brett Favre

Chicagos a great city with plenty to do, except watch football.

A fan had an interesting comment in reference to the city of Chicago having plenty to do, except watch football because it is a tourist city. The Bears and the Packers are one of the great NFL rivalries that have been one-sided over the past several years.
Justin Fields will need to back his words up this weekend against the Green Bay Packers or it will be another loss for him.
