- Charles Oakley is a Power Forward / Center who played 19 seasons in the NBA, most for the New York Knicks. He was on the 1985-86 All-Rookie team, a 1 time All-Star, and 2 time All-Defensive player. He never won a championship and averaged 9.7 points per game over his 19 NBA seasons. Charles Oakley’s last season in the NBA was in 2004, but had this to say in 2022:
Charles Oakley says Giannis Antetokounmpo would come off the bench in his era 😯

Shaq:
Shaquille O’neil dominated the NBA “back in the day,” and he has had this to say about Giannis:
Shaq said call Giannis Superman not Robin, carry on. pic.twitter.com/BMu31deHGy

AND THIS IN 2018!
Shaq dubs Giannis the new Superman 👀

The disrespect continues:
Throughout Giannis’ career he has not gotten the credit he deserves. Being called only a “run and dunk” player, his jump shot, and now Charles Oakley. Giannis’ resume speaks for itself, he is on a type all-time great career path that this league does not see very often. The rebuttals to Charles Oakley on the internet shows how crazy people think his comments are:

Giannis is 6′ 1″, 242 pounds, can clear half the court in 4 steps, and has improved his jump shot every single year in the league. He would have been just fine “back in the day.” Giannis will continue being Giannis, Charles Oakley can sit back and enjoy the show.
