The Green Bay Packers have entered a new era. Now that Aaron Rodgers has been officially traded, the team will look very different next year. Already, analysts have been slamming the Packers. They are preparing fans for a terrible team next year and Packers fans will be begging for the days of Aaron Rodgers. One CBS Sports analyst went so far as to say the Packers “are going to be one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2023.”

CBS Sports Analyst Adam Schein On The Green Bay Packers
Jordan Love is a huge unknown. The roster has some very young pieces, especially on offense. The defense has talent but is run by Joe Barry. It is safe to say that the Packers may take a step back from the 8-9 record from last year. However, Adam Schein thinks they will be one of the worst teams in the league. A lot of this comes from the inexperience of Love. In Rodgers’ first year as the starter, the team went 6-10. Love is a huge unknown and a lot of analysts do not view him as a quality starter. Despite that, saying they will be one of the worst teams feels very disrespectful.

The Team Still Has Lots Of Talent
Yes, the Packers are rebuilding but this team has talent all over the roster. The offensive line is a fringe top-ten group. Jaire Alexander is a top-five corner in the league. Aaron Jones is a top-five running back in the league. Christian Watson, Quay Walker, and Romeo Doubs all showed promise last season. Keisean Nixon brings some hope for special teams this year. I’m not saying the Packers are going to win their division but they certainly won’t be the worst team in the league. There are many other rosters in the NFL that are in worse shape than the Packers.
Maybe Schein will be right and I’ll eat crow. I just don’t see how this team is one of the worst. Saying they are going to be mediocre is not a disrespectful take in my opinion but one of the worst isn’t right. Ultimately, the hope is that this gives the Green Bay Packers a chip on their shoulder to prove to everyone that they can still win without Rodgers.

If you take anything Adam Schein says seriously you are easily misled. He has no credibility.
