Few players figure to play more of a starring role in the outcome of Saturday night’s Packers vs. Chicago Bears NFC Wild Card Playoff game than quarterback Caleb Williams.
Williams is making his first postseason appearance, and what he lacks in experience, the second-year star out of USC has made up for in dominance in clutch situations this season, powering six comeback victories, including one over the Packers.
Bold prediction would sink Packers in Playoff showdown vs. Bears

Over at NFL Media, former quarterback David Carr offered up a bold prediction that should worry the Packers.
Carr thinks Williams will have the best game of his career.
“Chicago’s offense has scored a touchdown just three times on its first drive this season,” Carr writes for NFL Media. “But the Bears hit the ground running on Saturday night. Caleb Williams provides his best performance yet in his playoff debut, throwing four touchdown passes on his first four drives to lead Chicago over Green Bay. The win makes Williams the first Bears QB to defeat the rival Packers multiple times in a season since Jim Harbaugh in 1991.”
If Williams rises to the moment, avoids critical mistakes, and especially if Bears head coach Ben Johnson commits to running the ball right at the weakness of the Packers’ defense, it could prove to be a long night for Green Bay.
The Packers have to love their chances in a shootout against Chicago’s defense, and if that’s what this game devolves into, Jordan Love is one heck of an asset for head coach Matt LaFleur and company.
