A Surprising Signing
With a depleted receiver group in Tampa Bay, the Bucs have signed wide receiver Cole Beasley to the active roster for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Packers.
He was signed to their practice squad on Tuesday but now is officially on the active roster.
Bucs Availability Issues
Mike Evans was suspended for Sunday’s game. Chris Godwin is out with a hamstring injury and Russell Gage is questionable with a hamstring injury as well.
Beasley most recently played for the Buffalo Bills in 2021 catching 82 passes on 112 targets for 693 yards and one touchdown.
It will be interesting to see what he has left in the tank at 35 years old now playing in his tenth season.
Given the fact that there are many injuries on the Bucs roster, he will be the top passing target for Tom Brady on Sunday.
