Milwaukee got their first win of the season against the Warriors on Friday.  A much needed victory after going 0-3 in the preseason and falling to the Celtics on Wednesday.  Despite Giannis only scoring 15 points, the Bucks crushed Golden State 138-99 with strong performances across the board.  Middleton scored an efficient 31 points in 3 quarters of play on 10-15 shooting, including 6-8 from three.  The Bucks will look to start a win streak against the Knicks.

Knicks Looking to Find Their Identity

At the time of writing this article the Knicks are 0-1.  Coming off of a loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night 107-121.  RJ Barrett lead the way in scoring for New York with 34 points.  This matchup has potential to be a sleeper for the Bucks after demolishing a depleted Golden State.  The young squad of the Knicks will definitely be giving it everything they have, let’s hope the Bucks continue playing with the energy they had on Christmas.

To start the year we’ve seen strong performances from Middleton, Jrue, and Donte.  On Christmas we saw both DJ’s show out as well.  If Giannis can get back to his MVP form the rest of the league will be in trouble as this team seems to have much more talent than in the past.

The game tips off at 6:30 PM Sunday in Madison Square Garden, maybe Giannis has some more New York magic for everyone?
