Milwaukee Bucks fans have accepted that Damian Lillard won’t be there in the playoffs after getting diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis. He is out indefinitely and if experts are to be listened to, he will need a full three months rest to fully recover.

However, the past days have been suggesting something different. He is present in Bucks games and according to head coach Doc Rivers, he is already running and doing some basketball shooting.
In social media, he has always been in good spirit. The latest Instagram story, however, got some fans disturbed.
Lillard posted a man on Bucks shirt on his IG story, probably being amused with the person’s dancing. The story was accompanied by a ‘Return of the Mack’ track by English singer Mark Morrison.
‘Return of the Mack’ is a song written by Morrison as his comeback soundtrack after he lost his girlfriend when he had to do jail time.
Bucks fans were quick to over-read and over-react to the story.
We reading into the song choice at all or not today?? https://t.co/d5Rv4SkXag

The latest on Damian Lillard
Fans who are having thoughts of Dame’s unexpected early return can’t be blamed as the news about his injury are positive.
Shams Charania said there is a chance for him to return in the playoffs. He did not, however, indicate which round.
The Bucks will play the Indiana Pacers as a fifth seed and the playoffs will start on Saturday.
Doc Rivers is also giving hints about his return.

“The blood clot has gotten smaller… It gives us the belief that there’s a chance that it could be gone in the next week or two,” he said in a local podcast.
“We’re hoping. That’s hopeful thinking obviously. But if that’s the case he can come back and play.”
