Milwaukee Bucks big man Bobby Portis was efficient and effective in the last three games he played since returning from a 25-game suspension.

He scored in double digits in all those games, averaging 16ppg and shooting well within 50 percent. He also became indispensable in crunch time during those nights.
He is feeling himself now and he is on a revenge tour. This is after several events prevented him from playing that much this season. This includes getting his home robbed and her grandmother dying.
He is ready for the playoffs.
“I done been through so much b***s*** in my life in the last year,” he said.

“I got thrown out of a playoff game, I got robbed, my grandma died. I got suspended for 25 games. Can’t anybody knock me off my swag no more, respectfully.”
Bobby Portis has been receiving praises
The start of the season was not that kind on Portis. The Bucks had an ugly start in October and November and his name was dragged a lot of times in trade rumors.
Things are different now and his teammates are speaking up on how huge his role will be for the team.
Head coach Doc Rivers recognized that Portis was down due to the suspension but he did stay ready.
“He was doing the work, but his spirit wasn’t Bobby,” Rivers said.

“And I don’t know when that turned, but it definitely turned. I thought the workouts really helped him. As crazy as it sounds, card games on the plane helped him. Maybe he was winning. Maybe the guys were letting him win, who knows? But I thought all that stuff helped him. It takes a family sometimes to get through stuff, and I thought our guys really, really embraced him.”
Bucks’ first round series with the Indiana Pacers will start on Saturday.
