The Milwaukee Bucks got a highlight play from big man Myles Turner on Sunday, and it’s worth watching over and over again.
During the fourth quarter of a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center in Minnesota, Turner took a pass from Kevin Porter Jr. and went straight to the rim for a powerful throwdown. Timberwolves forward Julius Randle tried to stop Turner, but he was too late on the help.
Turner took advantage of Rudy Gobert’s absence in the paint, as the Minnesota center gravitated toward Porter. In the same play, the former Texas Longhorns center showed his ability to move without the ball, which can always throw off opposing defenses.

Bucks suffer loss to Timberwolves on Sunday
Unfortunately for Turner and the Bucks, they ended up suffering a 103-100 loss to the Timberwolves. It was Milwaukee’s third loss in a row and fifth in six games. That also was not the ideal way for Turner and company to kick off a five-game road trip that will take them next to his old stomping grounds. Up ahead for Milwaukee is a meeting with the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana this coming Tuesday.
Turner finished the Minnesota game with 13 points on 4/11 shooting from the field with three 3-pointers, five rebounds and four assists.
On the season, Turner, who signed a multi-year contract wiht the Bucks in the offseason after several years suiting up for the Pacers, is averaging 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
