Bucks’ Kyle Kuzma made one of the craziest shots of the season—but it didn’t count

The Milwaukee Bucks are having an up-and-down ride again of late. Have alternated wins and losses in their last four games, a stretch that includes their 109-104 loss in Mile High City to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.

Despite the loss, there were some notable moments for the Bucks in that contest, one of which was the crazy shot that forward Kyle Kuzma made at the end of a period.

After getting the ball off a missed shot by the Nuggets, Kuzma heaved a shot from inside the Bucks’ 3-point line. The shot bounced off the back of the rim and went vertically into the air before landing straight into the hoop. The crowd inside the Ball Arena in Denver could be heard letting out a collective gasp in amazement over what just happened.

Unfortunately for Kuzma and the Bucks, the shot did not count, as time already expired before the ball left his hands.

But at least it was still worthy enough to be posted by the NBA on social media.

It didn't count, but this 3/4-court shot from Kyle Kuzma was INSANE 🤯

Bucks lose to Nuggets on the road

As for the game itself, Kuzma came off the bench against the Nuggets and scored a total of 11 points on a 5-for-13 shooting from the floor, including a 3-pointer. He added six rebounds in 26 minutes of action, but his numbers were not enough to prevent Milwaukee from absorbing a 108-104 road loss.

On the season, the former Utah Utes star is averaging 12.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 51.0 percent from the field.

Kuzma and the 17-22 Milwaukee will next host the Minnesota Timberwolves at Fiserv Forum this coming Tuesday.
