The Milwaukee Bucks are set for a rematch with the San Antonio Spurs and big man Victor Wembanyama and job will be a little harder as Bobby Portis will remain out. AJ Green, who played well vs Spurs, gets an encouraging update.

Portis missed all their road games against the Los Angeles Clippers, Utah Jazz, and the Portland Trailblazers due to personal reasons.
Doc Rivers was asked for an update about his big man but he can only give a confusing information.
Buck writer Eric Nem wrote:
Bobby Portis was not at today’s practice in San Antonio.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said Bobby Portis is “not here yet”. When asked if that means Portis could get to San Antonio for tomorrow’s game, Rivers said, “He could, but I don’t know one way or the other.”
Portis is back up to either Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez. He is currently averaging 13.4 points and 7.9 rebounds.

His absence fuels speculations about his future in Milwaukee as his name continuously gets dragged to various trade rumors.
AJ Green is getting better
Green, who missed 5 games already, played splendid the last time Bucks met the Spurs. He scored 14 points on four out of 7 shooting from the three point line.
His highlight included taking one bomb in front of Wembanyama’s face.
Will he be able to play in the rematch? Rivers said he is getting better and will be a game-time decision.

After today’s practice in San Antonio, Bucks coach Doc Rivers told reporters that he thinks AJ Green (left quad strain) will be a gametime decision tomorrow, but Green went through the team’s light practice today.
