Bucks’ teammates with 30+ points in the same game
What makes the game even more noteworthy is that another Bucks’ player, Jrue Holiday, also scored 31 points in the contest. It was only the 13th time in those 185 games where another teammate also scored 30 points to go along with Giannis’ 30+ points.
This was the second game this season that Giannis and a teammate scored 30+ points in the same game. Giannis and Jrue each score 34 points in the October 29 win over Atlanta.
As mentioned above, there have been only 13 games in Giannis’ career where he and a teammate each scored 30+ points in a game. In nine of those games, the teammate was Khris Middleton. This duo last had 30+ points together in a game on March 16, 2022, in a win over Sacramento.
The other teammates to have 30 points in a game with Giannis are Brook Lopez and Eric Bledsoe: Lopez and Giannis scored 34 each on August 8, 2020, versus Dallas; Bledsoe and Giannis had 30-point games together on November 14, 2019.
The last time two Bucks’ teammates not named Giannis Antetokounmpo each had 30+ in a game was on April 29, 2021, when Khris Middleton had 33 points and Bryn Forbes added 30 in a Bucks’ loss to Houston.
