Bucks look to sign Dragic
The Milwaukee Bucks have emerged as a leading contender to sign Goran Dragic per reports. Dragic was recently let go by the Chicago Bulls and has a reputation as a strong veteran presence. He is expected to visit Milwaukee tomorrow. It appears like they will get him a uniform right away.
Reports are that many teams have expressed an interest in Dragic. But he has chosen to visit the Bucks first.
ESPN Sources: The Milwaukee Bucks have emerged as frontrunners to sign guard Goran Dragic. He has connected with a few contenders since Bulls waived him, but the East-leading Bucks have moved to forefront of reaching a deal with Dragic.

Who is Goran Dragic?
The 36yr old Dragic has some impressive career numbers, averaging over 13 points a game while shooting close to 46% from the field. He has played for seven different NBA franchises.
Dragic is well-known to Bucks fans as a tough “out” in the playoffs. He has played for both the Heat and Nets against Milwaukee and has given the Bucks trouble. (No wonder they have an interest!)
Dragic has had injury concerns but he should be ready to go.

Buyouts and Moves continue
Remember, the Bucks have used their mid-level exemption on sharp-shooter Joe Ingles. But the allure to play on an NBA Championship contender continues to help Milwaukee attract top veteran talent.
The Milwaukee Bucks are in championship mode right now. One of the unique ways in the NBA to acquire talent and upgrade your roster is to “buyout” the contract of a player. How does that all work? Basically, the player and their current team agree to part ways at a mutually agreed upon price- usually a third of their existing deal- and then that player can go sign somewhere else for whatever they can get. While this is a case-by-case basis, for Dragic, he must be really relieved to be able to get out of Chicago.
Milwaukee is currently on a 16 game winning streak. They are also the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
