For the past few weeks, the Milwaukee Bucks have been without three time All-Star Khris Middleton, due to what was initially described as a sprained left ankle injury. What seemed to be a minor injury at the time, has begun to worry fans as Middleton’s injury progress remains unclear.
Shams Charania Talks Middleton Injury
While these worries are certainly warranted, they may be slightly eased by NBA Insider Shams Charania’s recent appearance on a recent episode of Run it Back, a Fanduel TV sports show hosted by Michelle Beadle and Chandler Parsons. When asked about the upcoming game between the Bucks and the Miami Heat, Charania responded by saying that he’s excited to see if Middleton will play, stating that he will be back “sooner rather than later.”

Bucks Struggles Without Middleton
It’s no secret to anyone following Bucks basketball just how crucial Khris is to this team. In games without Middleton this year, the Bucks are shooting just 34.4%, which is the worst percentage in the Bud-era, and puts them at 20th in the league. Middleton’s reliable clutch three point shooting will no doubt be essential for a team looking to win its second championship in three seasons. The Bucks will play the Atlanta Hawks tonight, who are also without a key starter, Clint Capela.
