Brook Lopez on Monday led the Milwaukee Bucks in scoring with 27 points in their win over the Portland Trailblazers and in the process reached a scoring milestone for his career: He scored his 15,000th career point.

Brook Lopez reaches 15,000 points, 5,000 rebounds and 1,500 blocked shots for his career

Lopez also became the 17th player in NBA history to reach 15,000 points, 5,000 rebounds and 1,500 blocked shots in a career. Through games of February 6, 2023, Lopez has 15,007 points, 5,744 rebounds, and 1,659 blocked shots.

Seventeen NBA players with 15,000/5,000/1,500 stats

Here are the 17 NBA players who are members of the career 15,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, 1,500 blocked shots club.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Elton Brand, Tim Duncan, Patrick Ewing, Kevin Garnett, Pau Gasol, Artis Gilmore, Elvin Hayes, Dwight Howard.

Brook Lopez, Moses Malone, Kevin McHale, Larry Nance, Shaquille O’Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, Robert Parish, David Robinson.

Brook Lopez is the only 15,000/5,000/1,500/500 player in NBA history

Looking at the career stats of these 17 players, you will notice that none of these players has as many three-pointers made as Lopez; he has 748. Next closest on the list is Pau Gasol with 179 three-pointers made. That makes Brook Lopez the only player in NBA history with 15,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, 1,500 blocked shots, and 500 three-pointers made.

Of the 17 players in this 15,000/5,000/1,500 Club, 12 are currently in the Basketball Hall of Fame: Abdul-Jabbar, Duncan, Ewing, Garnett, Gilmore, Hayes, Malone, McHale, O’Neal, Olajuwon, Parish and Robinson. The five not in the Hall: Elton Brand, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez, and Larry Nance.
