In baseball, you never know where the next great player will come from. Sometimes they are a highly regarded prospect and other times they fly under the radar. Most prospects do not pan out, but sometimes they do. This year, the Brewers international signing class consisted of 29 players with three of them being ranked in the top 50. One teenager that they signed, Aldrin Gonzalez, is a 16 year old pitcher who can already throw 95 MPH.
Here’s a fun little nugget from Brewers manager of international scouting James Armstrong: 16-year-old Venezuelan RHP Aldrin Gonzalez is the hardest thrower in this year’s signing class, having reached 95 mph already.
Barely tops @Todd_Rosiak‘s 16 YO personal best of 94 mph.
