Reyes has played in the big leagues in parts of 2018 and 2019, both spent with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In that time, he hit .229 with 46 hits, five of which were home runs, and posted an OPS of .664. He also played at six different positions in those two years, posting a .986 fielding percentage. Reyes spent all of 2020 suspended for the use of performance-enhancing drugs.
This signing of Pablo Reyes follows a series of other minor league signings by the Brewers, including Zach Green, Dustin Peterson, Dylan Cozens, and Luke Maile.
