Willy Adames is part of Milwaukee Brewers no more and now, he faces the inevitable of playing against them after being one of the more populars in team history.

The veteran short stop played for the Brewers from 2021 to 2024 and left the team in the offseason as a free agent.
He now plays for the San Francisco Giants which happened to be this week’s opponents by the Brewers.
The inevitable is happening but Adames still carries the time he spent with the team close to his heart, especially his teammates.
“Everybody there (in Milwaukee) treated me like I was home,” he said ahead of the first game of their at the Oracle Park.

“It’s hard to leave a place like that. I’m always going to have love for them.”
Still, he knows that what happened comes with being a pro player.
“At the end of the day, it comes to business.”
Pat Murphy, Jackson Chourio on facing Willy Adames
Even Brewers manager Pat Murphy is looking forward to facing Adames who he called ‘special.’
“I don’t know what Willy’s numbers were,” Murphy said per Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“I never will. I know he was clutch. I could depend on him. I know he was a gamer. I know he cared about the team. I know he wasn’t afraid. I know that he understood the game.”
As for youngster Jackson Chourio, he puts Adames in high regard.

“He was a really important part of my first year,” he said.
“We talked all the time and not just about the game. We had open communication over anything. He was someone I could talk to about anything and he would support me.”
