Milwaukee Brewers star William Contreras came to the new season with high hopes and good spirit. He even declared that he is out to become the best in the league.

His manager Pat Murphy thought he could do that because of his work ethics.
“He’s special. His commitment to being great is high,” Murphy said back in February.
“It takes more than that, too. It takes the mental commitment. I think he’s getting there. It’s a good sign that he wants to get out here early and play baseball.”
Problem is nothing is ideal right now for him and his team as the team are now 0-4 into the season.
They fell three times to the New York Yankees in their first series and lost big time to the Kansas City Royals at the American Family Field.

They were competitive in the first game against the Yankees as it ended 4-2 but they went on to lose the next ones by at least nine points.
William Contreras is tired of losing
The Milwaukee Brewers are getting dominated and fans are feeling anxious about the losing streak.
Contreras is equally frustrated.
“I’m a player who likes to win so this is about as tough a start as you can get kicked off to,” the 27-year-old catcher said.
Much of the discussion was on the struggle of the pitchers but the batters were also not up par to their capability, especially against the Royals.

Contreras himself was not impressive as he punched out twice on Monday. He was 0-for-3 with one walk in the game.
The team are struggling offensively and they need to step it up before things spiral down.
They already tied the most runs allowed (47) by a team in first four games set by St. Louis Cardinals in 1954.
Their worst start to the season was in 2003 when they lost their first six games.
