Rhys Hoskins agrees with his Milwaukee Bucks manager Pat Murphy who said his team is playing like they don’t have confidence.

Brewers fell to their rivals Chicago Cubs for a second straight game with the first one being an embarrassing 0-10 blow out. They tried to put up a fight in the second night of the three-game series but they just could not produce an inspiring run before succumbing to a 2-6 defeat.
“It seems like we’ve misplaced our edge,” Murphy told reporters post-game.
“Some of that is being behind. Still, it seems like we’ve misplaced our edge, we’re not playing with confidence.”
First baseman Hoskins, who has been there for the team since Day 1 as they deal with injuries to key pitchers and other players, will not contest his manager’s take.

Confidence takes a hit when skids like this happen, whether you seem to be doing the right thing and the ball’s not bouncing your way or you’re getting flat-out beat,” he said as quoted by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“I think you could peg that right now,” he added.
“I just think those two things go together.”
Rhys Hoskins is not that worried
The manager, the players, even fans think they are not in a good place right now.
Hoskins is not losing hope though. The season is just one month old and he believes they will be able to recover.
“Luckily, this is early still,” he said.

“I don’t want to just fall into that because at some point it’s not early. But we have a lot of baseball to be played, and I think because of the talent in this room, there’s no reason why we won’t find ourselves where we want to be come the end of summer.”
Brewers and Cubs will wrap up their series on Sunday as the former try to avoid a sweep at home.
