Christian Yelich refuses to put the blame on Milwaukee Brewers pitchers as the team fell to 0-4 after losing all three games against the New York Yankees and not being able to recover in the first game against the Kansas City Royals.

Brewers have around four pitchers that are yet to join the team due to various injuries. The remaining guys must do everything to hold the forth but they are failing at that.
Most notable of them was Nestor Cortes Jr. who allowed five home runs in the second game of the series last week.
They have so far allowed 17 home runs in four games.
Final: Royals 11, Brewers 1
Milwaukee has tied the all-time MLB record for most runs allowed through the first four games of a season with 47. It’s been outscored by 30 the last three days. But, only four games. Lotta season left.
The record: 0-4

While the allowed HRs are glaring, team leader and star Yelich insists they can’t turn their backs on their pitchers.
“Pitchers have had our back over the years here many times, they’ve picked us up, so, things will straighten out,” he said.
Christian Yelich remains upbeat about Brewers
The new MLB season is not yet one old week but some Brewers fans are becoming restless.
Yelich acknowledged that they have to improve and called the losses unacceptable.

“It’s just four games, but we’ve got to do better. It’s unacceptable to do that over the first four games,” Yelich said, according to MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy. “There’s different kinds of losses, but we have to be better than that. And we will be.”
Right now, the pitching department is where they need to improve the most. They have to be patient while waiting for Brandon Woodruff, Tobias Myers, Aaron Ashby, and Aaron Civale.
