Milwaukee Brewers manhandling the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday should be the bigger headline but Andrew Vaughn might have just stolen the spotlight.
The 27-year-old made his debut against the NL giants and effectively introduced himself to the home fans in the American Family Field through a historic performance.

Vaughn, who was acquired in June 13 in exchange for the unhappy Aaron Civale plus cash, hit a three-run home run in the 9-1 victory over the Dodgers who are currently leading the National League with a 56-36 record.
The 2019 third overall pick struggled early in the season for the Chicago White Sox but he found a new lease on life after he was traded to Wisconsin. However, he had to wait for his opportunity.
Manager Pat Murphy inserted himself into the line-up ahead of the match up with the Dodgers after Rhys Hoskins was put on the injured list.
He said he is still acclimating with the team but it did not appear like that as he became the “fifth player in franchise history to homer in his first plate appearance,” according to ESPN.

Fans are also declaring the Brewers as the winners of the trade in just one game.
Andrew Vaughn listened to his new teammates
He did have his struggles but the Brewers got him for a reason. His new teammates know what he is capable of and that’s what they told him.
“It was a welcome, and, ‘Hey, go do your thing,’” he said after his historic game.
“Once I got over here, [the message] was just to simplify. Get back to what makes me good.”

Murphy said Vaughn having this kind of game is similar to declaring that he is finally here.
“To have him show up the first day at noon, not know anybody, and then he’s in [the lineup], then get a huge hit in the first inning. That kind of opened things up. It was a great way to say, ‘Here I am.’”
Brewers and Dodgers will continue their series on Tuesday.
