Milwaukee Brewers are gearing up for the 2025 season, with high expectations of retaining their NL Central crown. As the team looks to build on its 93-69 record from the previous season, key areas will be addressed.

As it turns out, the first baseman dilemma has been worked out.

According to Brewers’ beat reporter Todd Rosiak:

Pat Murphy says the Brewers are looking at Mark Canha primarily at 1B, DH and as a pinch-hitter. “It’s a good sign on our part,” he said.

“He’s a baseball player. He cares about continuing to play. And I think he’ll be a great example for these young kids. Great personality.”
